Clive Fleissig
President
Clive has over 30 years of experience managing the operations of complex single family offices, including overseeing investment and tax strategies, legal compliance, governance and risk management in addition to many other functions required by families with substantial wealth, multiple residences and worldwide activities.
Clive has extensive hands-on experience with both North American and international investments having successfully negotiated, invested in, managed, advised and overseen business activities ranging from high-end commercial real estate, manufacturing and infrastructure, to media and service enterprises. He has served on the boards of numerous private companies, and has, on occasions assisted in an interim management capacity. From 2011 through 2013, he served as the point senior executive of Azteca Acquisition Corporation, a U.S listed company, when it completed a successful merger to form Hemisphere Media Group, Inc., an entity that has a current market capitalization of over $600 million.
Clive has developed an extensive network of domestic and international relationships within the banking, fund management, financial, legal and insurance industries. Clive has presented and moderated at numerous family office and investment conferences in the USA, Europe and Asia.
Over the past six years, Clive has served the needs of a select group of US and non-US UHNW individuals/family offices for investment strategy, organization matters and direct investing. Prior to this, he served as Chief Operating Officer of Brener International Group, (1999 through 2013), a very active family office where he coordinated, assessed, negotiated and structured investments of the Brener family, which has offices in Los Angeles and Mexico City. Prior to this he managed the family office of a prominent Los Angeles family whose main business was in communication infrastructure. In addition to the single family office functions, he was promoted to Managing Director of this family’s international cable TV division where he was responsible for negotiating joint ventures in Europe and Asia.
Clive has a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Business from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa, and qualified as both a Certified Public Accountant in the U.S. and a Chartered Accountant in South Africa.
